Senior Lindsey Gordon (N. Patchogue, N.Y.) has been named the
SimplexGrinnell Stony Brook Athlete of the Week after leading the Stony Brook
volleyball team to a split with UMBC this weekend.
Gordon averaged 3.50
kills/set, committing just one error in 36 attacks for a .556 hitting
percentage. The middle blocker recorded double-digit kills in both matches while
adding two aces and a pair of blocks during the Seawolves 3-0 victory on
Sunday.
Stony Brook’s next match will be
on Sunday when it hosts Hartford at 1:00 p.m.
