Freshman Corinne Perry (Northport, N.Y.) was named the America East Volleyball Rookie of the Week for the third time this season, according to a release from the conference office on Monday. The freshman setter finished second in the league last week with 10.50 assists per set. Perry helped guide the Seawolves offense to a season-best hitting percentage of .371 in the team’s sweep of Binghamton by dishing out 36 assists while also picking up eight digs. In a loss to Albany, Perry recorded 27 assists and seven digs.
