good food, great carnival games and amazing giveaways while cheering on your
favorite Seawolves!
Long Island High School Night
The Stony Brook Football Team is inviting all Long Island High Schools to come out to Kenneth P. LaValle Stadium and cheer on your Seawolves as they take on Brown in Seawolves Country! Since all Long Island High School Football programs do not play this particular weekend, Stony Brook Athletics will have a special presentation in appreciation for all of the support from these local programs.
Sunrise Fund Night
Stony Brook University Athletics will be adding a $2 donation to the price of every admission ticket for the Seawolves home opening game to the Sunrise Fund. The Sunrise Fund at Stony Brook was established to raise awareness about childhood cancer and to raise funds for specific projects including a respite center, a playroom, extended support services, facilities and programs that meet our families growing needs, and vital research into the causes and treatment of childhood cancers.
Stony Brook University Band Day
Stony Brook University will be hosting the inaugural Band Day at LaValle Stadium. Bands from around Long Island and the tri-state will gather at Stony Brook to partake in a day filled with musical activities including performing with the Spirit of Stony Brook, the Seawolves Marching Band during the 2009 Football Season home opener!
