1 lb. cooked chicken cut into small cubes
1-cup green peas
2 medium celery stalks sliced
2 medium carrots cut into cubes
1 medium onion chopped small
1 tbs. minced garlic
9 cups Swanson chicken broth – low sodium preferably
2 cups water
1 tsp. dried parsley flakes
1 tsp. dried thyme leaves Save
Ground black pepper to taste
1 package Sazzon
2 dried bay leaves – whole
2 tbs. chicken base
1 cup cooked rice or uncooked pasta
Heat all ingredients in large pot, stir in pasta or rice.
Heat to boiling, stirring occasionally.
Reduce heat, cover, and simmer for 10 – 20 minutes.
Remove bay leaves and throw away.
Serve with bread.
